How we work...
Consider Wasatch Engineering, LLC as your additional engineering resource. Whether you are an owner/architect/operator or another engineering firm we can provide the additional capacity or expertise your project needs. We want to become your “easy button”. The current job market can make it hard to find electrical engineers with the right experience and skills. We are confident that we can help you fill in the gaps on any project. We have established working relationships with other engineering and design professionals that allow us to offer the resources of a full service electrical engineering department. Let us help you grow your business.
We are happy to provide services based on a specific projects, a set period of time or thru a master services agreement which allows us to respond quickly on an as needed basis with an agreed upon hourly rate.
We take great pride in meeting project deadlines within the agreed upon budget. While engineers have a reputation of not being great communicators, we make sure our clients know project schedule and budget status by reporting on regular intervals based on the needs of the project.
Benefits of hiring on contract
- Access to skilled professionals with the right experience. This is particularly important in the construction related fields. It’s one thing to find an electrical engineer or even a PE and another to find one that knows how to put together a set of construction documents. For example, some engineers have great experience in the field on the plant/facility operations side, but they don’t know the first thing about putting together a set of drawings you can build from.
- Independent engineers are self starters that don’t require hand holding to get work done. This helps companies meet project schedules and budgets.
- Contracted engineers are 100% billable. When there isn’t work available companies aren’t paying someone to sit around waiting for the next job.
- Flexible work force that can fluctuate based on the available work. This can remove the stress of needing to “staff up” for a single project only to lay those same engineers off once the project is over.
